DMSI Advanced API — Build Powerful Integrations with OAuth 2.0 and SDKs
Build custom customer portals, white-label integrations, and automated workflows with OAuth 2.0, GraphQL, and native SDKs.
What DMSI Advanced API Does
DMSI DDLS core includes a REST API with API key authentication — sufficient for simple integrations where you control both the WordPress store and the consuming application. But building a custom customer portal, a white-label solution, or an enterprise integration requires more: OAuth 2.0 scoped access tokens so third-party applications can authenticate without exposing your API key, a data-efficient query layer to avoid over-fetching, native SDKs for your development team’s language of choice, and interactive documentation your team can test against in the browser.
DMSI Advanced API extends the DMSI DDLS REST API with OAuth 2.0 and JWT authentication, a GraphQL endpoint, official SDKs for PHP, Node.js, and Python, and interactive Swagger/OpenAPI documentation with live “Try it” functionality. Build your own customer-facing portal using your branding, or integrate DMSI DDLS data into any application in your stack.
API usage analytics and per-client rate limiting give you full visibility and control over how your API is being consumed — essential for multi-tenant applications and public integrations.
Who it is for: Developers building custom portals, agencies building client solutions, SaaS teams building on top of DMSI DDLS, and any developer who has outgrown basic API key authentication and needs proper OAuth infrastructure.
Key Features
- OAuth 2.0 and JWT authentication — Authorization Code flow for third-party apps, Client Credentials for server-to-server, and JWT Bearer tokens for stateless high-performance calls. Scoped access tokens with configurable expiry.
- GraphQL support — A full GraphQL endpoint alongside the REST API. Query exactly the data you need across licenses, customers, products, orders, subscriptions, activations, and downloads. Introspection support included.
- PHP, Node.js, and Python SDKs — All three official SDKs are included with your license. Install via Composer, npm, or PyPI. OAuth 2.0 and API key authentication both supported.
- Interactive API documentation — Swagger/OpenAPI 3.0 spec generated from your live instance, hosted at
/wp-json/dmsi/v2/docs/. Test every endpoint directly from your browser with the “Try it” feature. - API usage analytics per client — Dashboard showing call volume, error rates, and top endpoints per OAuth client. Rate limiting per client with configurable limits per minute, hour, and day.
- White-label customer portal support — Serve your customer portal from your own domain with your own branding. All portal data served via OAuth-authenticated endpoints. Open-source portal templates available on GitHub (MIT license).
