Overview #
DDLS provides two public REST endpoints for license activation and deactivation. These endpoints are called by client software (plugins, desktop apps) to register and release license activations without requiring WordPress admin credentials.
Authentication is performed via the license key itself — no WordPress cookie or application password is needed.

Activates a license on a site or machine.

POST /licenses/deactivate #
Releases a license activation from a site or machine.

Note: These endpoints are intentionally public — client software does not have WordPress credentials. Security is enforced through license key validation and product ownership checks.
