The Customers Screen Overview #
The Customers screen shows everyone who has purchased from you, whether they have licenses or just downloads. This is your central hub for customer service and account management.
Getting There #
Go to DDLS > Customers in your WordPress admin menu.
What You’re Looking At #
The main customers table shows 7 columns:
- Checkbox – For bulk actions
- Email – Customer’s email address. Sortable.
- Name – Full name (First Last). Sortable.
- Company – Company name if provided. Empty if not a business customer.
- Licenses – Clickable count showing how many licenses this customer owns. Click to view their licenses.
- Total Spent – Lifetime value from all purchases. Formatted as currency.
- Joined – When customer record was created. Sortable.
Sortable Columns: Email, Name, and Joined. Click the column header to sort ascending or descending.
Row Actions #
Hover over any customer row to see quick actions:
- View – Opens customer overview page (read-only)
- Edit – Opens edit form to modify customer details
- View Licenses – Shows all licenses for this customer
- Delete – Attempts to delete customer (blocked if they have active licenses)
Bulk Actions #
The Bulk Actions dropdown currently offers Delete.
Important: Bulk delete has built-in protection. You cannot delete customers who have active licenses. System shows error: “Cannot delete customers with active licenses. Please cancel/delete their licenses first.”
Pagination #
Shows 20 customers per page by default. Navigate with page numbers at bottom.
