Version note: Bundle license grouping was introduced in DMSI DDLS v2.1.0. Customers who purchased bundle products before upgrading to v2.1.0 will see their licenses regrouped automatically.
When a customer has purchased a bundle product, the Licenses section displays a grouped view instead of individual standalone rows.
What the Customer Sees #
Bundle group header — appears as a collapsible row showing:
- Bundle product name (e.g., “Developer Pack”)
- Parent license key
- Subscription renewal date
- Renewal action button (links to the bundle subscription)
Child license rows — nested under the bundle header, each showing:
- Child product name (e.g., “Pro Plugin”)
- Child license key
- Activation count vs. limit
- Expiration date
- “Managed by [Bundle Name]” label (no individual renewal button)
Renewal #
- The renewal action appears only on the bundle (parent) row.
- Child license rows show “Managed by [Bundle Name]” instead of a renewal action.
- Customers cannot renew individual child licenses separately — renewal happens at the bundle level when the subscription renews.
Activation Management #
Customers can still activate and deactivate sites for each child license independently, the same as for any individual license. Activation management works per child license.
Download Access #
Download access for each child product follows that child product’s own settings. If a child product requires an active support contract for downloads, that requirement applies as normal to the child license.
