Downloads Section #

The Downloads section of the Customer Portal shows all files available for download from the customer’s purchased products.

Variation-Filtered Downloads (New in v2.0.0) #

Downloads are now filtered based on the product variation the customer purchased. If a version is linked to a specific variation, only customers who bought that variation see it.

How filtering works:

1. The system looks up the customer’s license for each product
2. For each license, it checks which variation was purchased
3. It shows versions that match the purchased variation, plus versions with no variation set (universal versions)
4. Versions linked to other variations are hidden

Example: A product has “Basic” and “Pro” variations. A customer who purchased “Basic” sees:

• All versions with no variation set (changelogs, universal builds)
• All versions linked to the “Basic” variation
• They do NOT see versions linked to the “Pro” variation

What Customers See #

Each download entry shows:

• Product name
• Version number
• File name with download link
• Platform label (e.g., Windows, macOS)
• File description (if set)
• Release date

Download Access #

Downloads require an active, non-expired license. If a customer’s license is expired or suspended, download links are disabled with an appropriate message.
