Portal Page Settings #
Portal settings are located at DDLS > Settings > Portal tab.
Available Settings #
Enable Portal #
Toggle the customer portal on or off. When the portal is disabled, the portal page still exists in WordPress but will not display portal content to visitors.
Portal Page Title #
> Version note: “Portal Page Title” was introduced in v1.2.1 as a replacement for the previous “Portal URL Slug” setting.
This setting controls the title of the WordPress page that powers the customer portal. The title you enter here is synced automatically to the WordPress page.
Important: Changing the portal page title will also change the page’s URL slug (WordPress automatically derives the slug from the page title). If you change this setting, any external links or bookmarks to the old portal URL will break. Update your navigation menus and any links to the portal after changing this setting.
Default value: Customer Portal
Allow Downloads #
When enabled, the Downloads section is visible to customers in the portal. When disabled, the Downloads section is hidden entirely.
Allow Activation Management #
When enabled, customers can deactivate sites from within the Licenses section. When disabled, customers can view their activations but cannot make changes. This is useful if you want customers to contact you to manage activations.
Allow Subscription Management #
When enabled, the Subscriptions section is visible and interactive. When disabled, the Subscriptions section is hidden or shown in a read-only state depending on configuration.
How the Portal URL Is Determined #
As of v1.2.1, the portal URL is derived from the permalink of the real WordPress page that backs the portal. This means the URL respects your site’s permalink structure (for example, with or without a trailing slash, with date-based prefixes if your permalink structure uses them, etc.).
In v1.0.x, the portal URL was constructed from a manually configured slug setting. That setting has been replaced by the Portal Page Title setting.
