Governing Law (New in v2.0.0) #
| Property | Description |
|---|---|
| Purpose | The legal jurisdiction for your agreements (e.g., “the State of California, USA”) |
| Used in | EULA template placeholder substitution ({governing_law} token) |
| Default | Blank |
How it works: When you load a bundled EULA template under DDLS > Developer > EULA Library, this value is automatically substituted into the {governing_law} placeholder in the template content. If you leave this blank, the {governing_law} token in templates will remain unreplaced and must be filled in manually.
Example values:
- “the State of California, United States”
- “England and Wales”
- “the Province of Ontario, Canada”
