The Products Screen Overview #
The Products screen is unique in DMSI DDLS – it’s actually a view into your WooCommerce products, showing only those with licensing enabled. You don’t create products here; you create them in WooCommerce and configure their licensing settings.
Getting There #
Go to DDLS > Products in your WordPress admin menu.
What You’re Looking At #
The products screen shows a read-only list of your WooCommerce products that have licensing enabled.
5 columns displayed:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Product Name | The WooCommerce product name |
| License Type | Standard, Professional, or Enterprise |
| Activation Limit | How many sites (e.g., “5 sites”, “Unlimited”) |
| Active Licenses | Clickable count showing how many active licenses |
| Price | Product price from WooCommerce |
Important Notice #
At the top of the screen, you’ll see an information banner explaining that products are managed in WooCommerce. Click “Edit in WooCommerce” to modify products or their licensing settings.
What You Can Do #
From This Screen:
- Search – Search products by name
- View Active Licenses – Click the license count to filter licenses for that product
- Edit in WooCommerce – Click product name to go to WooCommerce product editor
What You CANNOT Do:
- Cannot create products here (use WooCommerce > Products > Add New)
- Cannot delete products here (use WooCommerce)
- No bulk actions (managed in WooCommerce)
Bundle Products Badge (New in v2.1.0) #
Bundle products show a special badge in the Product Name column: “Bundle · N products” where N is the number of child products configured inside the bundle. This badge identifies bundle products at a glance without needing to open the WooCommerce editor.
