Customer Can’t Activate License #
Symptoms: Error message when activating, “Invalid license key”
Step 1: Check License Status #

| Expired | Customer needs to renew |
| Suspended | Check notes, change to active if appropriate |
| Cancelled | Customer needs to repurchase |
| Active | Continue troubleshooting |
Step 2: Check Activation Limit #

| 5/5 | Limit reached – deactivate old sites |
| 3/5 | Slots available – continue troubleshooting |
Step 3: Check Support Contract #
If product requires active support:
- Check Support Status on license
- Expired? Customer needs to renew support
Step 4: Verify License Key #
- Copy/paste key (don’t type)
- No extra spaces
- Check for l/I and 0/O confusion
