Uploading Files #

When editing a version, use either method to attach files:

Inline Upload (New in v2.0.0): Drag and drop or click to upload directly. Faster for new files.
Media Library: Browse existing uploads. Useful when reusing files across versions.

File Fields #

Each attached file has these properties:

Platform (Updated in v2.0.0) #

Select the platform this file targets. Platform options are now admin-configurable — manage them in DDLS > Settings > Platforms.

Previously, platform options were hardcoded (Windows, Mac, Linux). Now you can add custom platforms (e.g., “Docker”, “ARM64”, “Universal”) to match your product’s distribution needs.

File Description #

An optional description shown to customers in the Portal download list. Use this to clarify what the file contains (e.g., “Installer”, “Portable ZIP”, “Source Code”).

Removing Files #

Click the remove/delete icon next to an attached file to detach it from the version. The file remains in the WordPress Media Library — only the association with the version is removed.
