Rate limit counter rows accumulate in the database as requests are made. To prevent table bloat, DMSI Advanced API automatically purges expired window records.

Cleanup Schedule #

Cleanup runs on a WP-Cron schedule registered as dmsi_aapi_five_minutes. The cron job fires every 5 minutes and deletes any rate limit records whose window has already expired.

No manual intervention is required. WP-Cron must be running on your WordPress installation for cleanup to execute on schedule. If you use a system cron to trigger wp-cron.php, cleanup will run at the standard interval.
