What This Extension Adds #

Core DDLS has no sandbox or test environment. DMSI Advanced API adds an isolated sandbox that mirrors the full production API using completely separate database tables and a dedicated sandbox API key. You can make any API call in sandbox mode without affecting production data, with no rate limiting applied.

The sandbox environment is designed for development and integration testing. It provides a safe environment where you can exercise every API endpoint, test webhook handling, and validate your integration without creating real records or consuming rate limit quota.

Key characteristics of the sandbox:

• Completely isolated from production data — sandbox requests read from and write to separate tables only
• Dedicated sandbox API key with the prefix dmsi_sand_*
• No rate limiting — sandbox requests are not counted against any rate limit tier
• All API endpoints behave identically to production
• All responses include the header X-DMSI-Environment: sandbox so you can detect sandbox mode programmatically
• Webhooks do not fire in sandbox mode — sandbox events do not trigger real webhook deliveries
