Real-Time Dashboard #
The Real-Time Dashboard shows live activity on your site as it happens. Unlike the other analytics pages (which show pre-calculated daily data), the real-time view queries the database directly and refreshes automatically.
Accessing the Real-Time Dashboard #
Go to DDLS > Real-Time Dashboard.
What It Shows #
The real-time dashboard has two sections:
Live KPIs (Top Section) #
Refreshes every 30 seconds automatically.

| Active Users | WordPress users with a session in the last 15 minutes |
| Events Today | Total events recorded today |
| Downloads Today | Downloads logged today |
| Activations Today | License activations today |
Live Event Feed (Bottom Section) #
A chronological stream of recent events. Each event shows:
– Event type (icon)
– Description (e.g., “License activated for Product X”)
– Time ago (e.g., “2 minutes ago”)
Auto-Refresh #
The page refreshes automatically every 30 seconds. You can see the countdown timer in the toolbar. Click Pause to stop auto-refresh (useful when investigating a specific event).
Event Filter #
Filter the event feed by event category:
– All Events
– Licenses
– Activations
– Downloads
– Customers
– Subscriptions
Performance Note #
The real-time dashboard queries the events table directly (not pre-calculated metrics). On busy sites with high event volume, keep this tab open only when actively monitoring. The other analytics pages (Revenue, Customers, etc.) use cached pre-calculated data and have no performance impact.
