Download Volume and Trends #

Tracking download volume over time tells you how actively your customers are using your products.

Download Trend Chart #

The Download Trend chart shows total downloads per day, week, or month (depending on the selected date range).

• Short date ranges (7-30 days) show daily counts
• Medium ranges (30-90 days) show weekly totals
• Long ranges (90+ days) show monthly totals

What Download Spikes Mean #

Common causes of download volume spikes:
– A new version released (customers re-download updated files)
– A promotional campaign driving new purchases
– A post-purchase email campaign reminding customers to download
– A product feature announcement that renews customer interest

Download Failure Rate #

A download failure is recorded when a customer’s download attempt is rejected (invalid license, expired access, etc.) or errors during delivery.

Healthy failure rate: Below 5%. Consistent failure rates above 10% may indicate license key distribution issues, customer confusion about license status, or delivery infrastructure problems.

Top Downloaded Files #

The Top Downloads table shows:
– File name
– Product it belongs to
– Total downloads in the period
– Unique customers who downloaded it

Sort by any column to identify your most-used files.
