Activating Your License Key #
DMSI Analytics requires a valid license key to function. The license is validated against the DMSI developer server.
Where to Find Your License Key #
Your license key is available at developer.dmsi.gr in your account dashboard under My Licenses.
The key format is: DMSI-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX
Activating the License #
- Go to DDLS > Analytics in your WordPress admin (the Analytics Settings page)
- Find the License section at the top of the page
- Paste your license key into the License Key field
- Click Activate License
You will see a confirmation message: License activated successfully.
License Status Indicators #
| Status | Indicator Color | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Active | Green | License is valid. All features unlocked. |
| Expired | Orange | License has expired. Renew at developer.dmsi.gr. |
| Invalid | Red | Key not found or does not match this domain. |
| Unknown | Gray | Could not reach license server. Retry later. |
How License Validation Works #
- The license is checked against
https://dmsi.grwhen first activated - The result is cached for 24 hours in a WordPress transient
- A cached result means your site works even if developer.dmsi.gr is temporarily unreachable
- The cache is refreshed every 24 hours automatically
Deactivating the License #
If you are moving the plugin to a different domain or decommissioning the site:
- Go to DDLS > Analytics > Settings
- Find the License section
- Click Deactivate License
This releases the activation slot so you can use the license on another site.
