Goal Alert Emails #

DMSI Analytics sends automated email alerts when goals are achieved or hit milestone thresholds.

When Alerts Are Sent #

Alert emails are dispatched by the nightly metric calculation (2:00 AM WP-Cron). When the calculation detects that a goal has been newly achieved since the last check, it queues an alert email.

Milestone alerts fire at:
– 50% of target reached
– 75% of target reached
– 100% of target reached (goal achieved)

What the Email Contains #

The goal achievement email includes:
– Goal type and period
– Target value
– Current value at time of achievement
– Date achieved
– Link to the Goals page for full context

Configuring Goal Alerts #

When creating or editing a goal, toggle Send Achievement Email on to enable alerts.

To configure the email recipient(s):
1. Go to DDLS > Analytics > Settings
2. Find Alert Email Recipients
3. Enter one or more email addresses (comma-separated)
4. Save Settings

By default, alert emails go to the WordPress admin email address.
