Subscription Revenue Insights #
If you use DDLS Subscriptions Pro, DMSI Analytics captures detailed subscription lifecycle events and provides insights beyond basic revenue totals.
Requires DDLS Subscriptions Pro
Subscription revenue insights require the DDLS Subscriptions Pro add-on to be installed and active. Without it, subscription event tracking is not available and only total revenue (from WooCommerce orders) is tracked.
Subscription Metrics Available #
| Metric | Description |
|---|---|
| Active Subscriptions | Count of currently active subscriptions |
| New Subscriptions | Subscriptions started in the period |
| Renewals | Subscriptions successfully renewed |
| Cancellations | Subscriptions cancelled |
| Payment Failures | Failed renewal payment attempts |
| Cancellation Rate | Cancellations / Active subscriptions |
| Renewal Rate | Successful renewals / Renewals due |
Subscription Revenue vs Total Revenue #
Not all revenue is subscription revenue. DMSI Analytics separates:
- Subscription revenue – From active recurring subscriptions
- One-time purchase revenue – From lifetime licenses or non-subscription products
- Renewal revenue – From annual licenses that renewed
The Revenue by Product table includes a “Type” column indicating how each product’s revenue is classified.
Subscription Churn #
Subscription churn is tracked on the Customer Analytics page. See Churn Rate & Retention for details on how churn is calculated.
