Exports Not Working #

CSV or JSON Export Downloads an Empty File #

Cause: The report returned no data for the selected date range.

Fix: Expand the date range or confirm data exists for the period.

Excel Export Not Downloading #

Cause: The SimpleXLSXGen library failed to load or a PHP error occurred during generation.

Fix:
1. Enable WP_DEBUG and check the debug log for errors
2. Confirm the file exists: wp-content/plugins/dmsi-analytics/assets/vendor/simplexlsxgen/SimpleXLSXGen.php
3. If missing, reinstall the plugin

PDF Export Opens Browser Print Dialog but Has No Content #

Cause: The print CSS failed to load, or the chart rendered after the print dialog opened.

Fix:
1. Wait a few seconds for charts to fully render before clicking Export PDF
2. Confirm analytics-print.css loaded without a 404 in the Network tab
3. Try in an incognito/private window to rule out browser extensions interfering

Large Export Goes to Background but No Email Arrives #

Cause: WP-Cron is not running, or the WordPress site email is not configured.

Fix:
1. Check WP-Cron is enabled (see No Analytics Data Showing for WP-Cron check)
2. Go to Settings > General and confirm the Administration Email Address is correct
3. Install and configure WP Mail SMTP to ensure email delivery from your server works
