License Validation Failures #
“Invalid License Key” Error #
Cause 1: Typo in the license key. License keys are case-sensitive.
Fix: Copy and paste the key directly from developer.dmsi.gr rather than typing it.
Cause 2: The license was already used on another domain and you have hit the activation limit.
Fix: Go to developer.dmsi.gr, find your license, and deactivate the old site’s activation to free up a slot.
Cause 3: The license key is for a different product (e.g., a DDLS Core license instead of an Analytics license).
Fix: Check developer.dmsi.gr to confirm you are using the DMSI Analytics license key, not a different product’s key.
“Could Not Connect to License Server” #
Cause: Your server cannot reach https://dmsi.gr.
Diagnosis: From your server, run:
curl -I https://dmsi.gr
Common causes:
– Server firewall blocking outbound HTTPS to external domains
– DNS resolution failure for developer.dmsi.gr
– Hosting provider blocking outbound requests (some shared hosts do this)
Fix: Contact your hosting provider to allow outbound HTTPS to developer.dmsi.gr.
License Was Active But Now Shows as Invalid #
Cause: The 24-hour license cache may be stale, or the license was deactivated remotely.
Fix:
1. Go to Analytics > Settings > License
2. Click Check License to force an immediate re-validation
3. If still invalid, log in to developer.dmsi.gr and check the license status there
