My Contracts Page #
The My Contracts page at /customer-portal/services/contracts/ shows all service contracts associated with the customer’s account. Customers use this page to monitor their hour balance and contract status.
What DMSI Service Management Adds
Service contracts are a new concept introduced by this extension. The Core portal has no contract visibility. This page gives customers full transparency into their service hour allocation and usage.
Contract Cards #
Each active contract is displayed as a card containing:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Contract Number | Format: SVC-YYYY-NNNNN (e.g., SVC-2026-00001) |
| Contract Name | Human-readable name assigned at contract creation |
| Status | active, suspended, or expired |
| Start Date | When the contract began |
| End Date | When the contract expires (if applicable) |
| Allocated Hours | Total hours included in the contract |
| Used Hours | Hours consumed through logged time entries |
| Remaining Hours | Hours remaining (allocated minus used) |
Hour Balance Bar #
Each contract card includes a visual hour balance bar — a progress bar that fills as hours are used. The bar changes color based on usage level:
- Normal fill color when usage is below the first alert threshold (default 70%)
- Warning color between the first and second thresholds (70%–90%)
- Critical color when usage exceeds the second threshold (default 90%)
This gives customers an immediate visual indication of how much of their service time remains.
Expired and Inactive Contracts #
Expired or cancelled contracts are shown in a separate section below active contracts. They retain all historical data including total hours used and contract dates.
Hour Deduction Timing #
Hours are deducted from a contract’s balance immediately when a staff member creates a time entry. There is no delay or batch processing for hour deductions — the balance shown on this page is always current.
