Services Hub Page #
The Services Hub at /customer-portal/services/ is the customer’s entry point to all service management functions. It provides an at-a-glance summary of the customer’s service relationship and quick access to key actions.
What DMSI Service Management Adds
This page does not exist in Core. It is created entirely by the Service Management extension and serves as the dashboard for the customer-facing services experience.
Summary Cards #
The hub displays four summary cards at the top of the page:
| Card | What It Shows |
|---|---|
| Open Requests | Live count of requests with status: new, assigned, in_progress, or on_hold |
| Active Contracts | Count of the customer’s active service contracts |
| Asset Renewal Alerts | Number of assets expiring within the next 30 days |
| Pending Surveys | Count of satisfaction surveys awaiting customer completion |
Each card links to the relevant sub-page so customers can navigate directly to the area of interest.
Quick Action Buttons #
Below the summary cards, the hub displays a set of quick action buttons:
- Submit a Request — links directly to the request submission form
- View My Contracts — links to the contracts listing page
- View My Requests — links to the requests listing page
- View My Assets — links to the assets listing page
Recent Activity #
The hub may also display a short list of recent activity (latest request status changes, recent notes added by staff) so customers can see what has happened recently without navigating to individual pages.
No Data State #
If the customer has no contracts, requests, or assets on record, each summary card shows zero and the hub displays a message explaining that no service records are found. This is normal for new customers who have not yet purchased a service contract.
