Q: Does this plugin work without DMSI DDLS Core? #
No. DMSI Subscriptions Pro is an extension that requires DMSI DDLS Core 1.0.0 or higher. It cannot function standalone. Install and activate DMSI DDLS Core first, then install this extension.
Q: Can I use DMSI Subscriptions Pro with standard WooCommerce Subscriptions? #
No. This plugin is designed specifically for DMSI DDLS subscription records, not WooCommerce Subscriptions (the third-party plugin by WooCommerce). The two are separate systems.
Q: What happens to subscription data if I deactivate the plugin? #
Deactivating the plugin does not delete any data. Data is only deleted on uninstall if you have enabled the “Delete data on uninstall” option in DMSI → Subscriptions Pro → Advanced settings. By default, dmsilm_sp_delete_data_on_uninstall is set to false.
Q: How many times can a customer pause their subscription? #
By default, customers may pause up to 3 times per rolling 12-month period (dmsilm_sp_max_pauses_per_year = 3). The maximum single pause duration is 90 days (dmsilm_sp_max_pause_days = 90). Both limits are configurable. See Configuring Pause Settings.
Q: Do win-back emails have an unsubscribe option? #
Yes. Every win-back email includes an opt-out link using a secure token parameter. The unsubscribe URL format is https://yoursite.com/winback-unsubscribe/?token={token}. See Win-Back Email Templates for details.
Q: After upgrading from an older version, some feature toggles stopped working. Why? #
This is a known issue related to an option key format change between versions. Older versions stored feature toggles as dmsilm_sp_enable_{feature} while the current format is dmsilm_sp_{feature}_enabled. The maybe_upgrade() routine handles this migration automatically, but if it did not run, see Advanced Settings and Gotchas for the manual resolution steps.
