Follow these five steps to get DMSI Subscriptions Pro running with sensible defaults in under 10 minutes.
Step 1 — Verify Installation #
Confirm the plugin is active at Plugins → Installed Plugins. Look for “DMSI Subscriptions Pro” with a status of “Active”. If you see an admin notice about missing dependencies, resolve them before proceeding.
Step 2 — Activate Your License #
Navigate to DMSI → License Manager and enter your license key. See Installation for full details.
Step 3 — Review General Settings #
Go to DMSI → Subscriptions Pro → General tab. Enable the feature modules you want to use (trials, win-back, pause/resume, plan switching). All features are disabled by default and must be explicitly enabled.
Step 4 — Configure Dunning and Retries #
Navigate to the Retries and Dunning tabs. The default retry schedule (days 1, 3, 5, 7) and grace period (14 days) work well for most stores. See Payment Retries Overview for customization options.
Step 5 — Test With a Subscription #
Place a test subscription order using WooCommerce’s sandbox/test mode. Verify the subscription appears at DMSI → Subscriptions Pro and that the Subscription Pro Status Metabox appears on the order edit screen.
