Extension License #
Manage the DMSI Update Server plugin's own license key.
Why This Plugin Has Its Own License #
The DMSI Update Server is a commercial extension of DMSI-DDLS. It requires its own license key purchased from dmsi.gr. The license is validated against the DMSI license server.
License Section Fields #

| Status | Current status: inactive, active, grace, expired, invalid |
| Expires | License expiration date (if applicable) |
| Activate | Button to activate a new key |
| Deactivate | Button to deactivate (releases the activation for use on another site) |
License Statuses #
| Status | Meaning | Update Server Functions? |

| active | Valid and within expiry | Yes, full functionality |
| grace | Expired but within 7-day grace period | Yes, full functionality |
| expired | Past grace period | No — only settings tab loads |
| inactive | Key entered but not activated | No |
| invalid | Key does not exist or was revoked | No |
What Happens When the License Expires #
If the license expires and the 7-day grace period passes:
- The Update Server REST API stops responding
- Client software update checks fail
- The customer portal Updates section disappears
- Only the Settings tab loads (so you can re-enter/renew your license)
Customer data is preserved. No data is deleted when the license expires.
