Syncing Windows and Android #
Flexible syncs directly between your own devices — there is no cloud and no account. Your data travels straight from one device to the other over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
Before you start #
- Install Flexible on both devices (the Android app is free).
- Open the Sync screen on both devices — each device advertises itself only while its Sync screen is open.
- For Wi-Fi, both devices must be on the same network.
Sync over Wi-Fi (recommended) #
- Open Sync on both devices.
- Wait for the other device to appear in the list.
- Select it and let the sync run. You will see how many items were sent and received, and a “Last sync” time.
Sync over Bluetooth #
If Wi-Fi is unavailable, turn Wi-Fi sync off in Connectivity and use Bluetooth instead. Keep both apps open and in the foreground while connecting.
“Sync” vs “Sync Now” #
- Sync (on a device row) connects to that specific device and exchanges data.
- Sync Now connects and syncs in one step from a cold start — use it when you just want everything up to date.
Notes #
- Sync is two-way: changes on either device flow to the other.
- Your vault syncs its encrypted data only — unlock it on each device with your master password.
