The Activity Log is a complete audit trail of all actions taken within DMSI Team Management. It records every significant team operation automatically.
Go to DMSI DDLS > Team > Activity Log to view it.
Admin-Side Feature
The Activity Log is accessible only from the DDLS admin panel. It captures actions from both the admin staff team and customer team license operations.
What Gets Logged #
Every significant action creates an activity log entry:
Staff Team Actions:
- Staff member added, edited, removed, or suspended
- Staff role created, modified, or deleted
- Role assignment changed
Customer Team Actions:
- Team license created (on purchase)
- Team member invited, joined, or removed
- Team member role changed
- Invitation cancelled or resent
Permission and Configuration:
- Plugin settings changes
- License key validation events
What Each Log Entry Contains #
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Date/Time | When the action occurred |
| Action | A description of what happened |
| Object Type | What was affected (member, role, invitation, etc.) |
| Object ID | The database ID of the affected record |
| Performed By | Which user took the action |
| Old Value | The previous state (for changes) |
| New Value | The new state (for changes) |

How Long Logs Are Retained #
Activity log entries are automatically pruned by a background job that runs on a schedule. The retention period is configured in the plugin settings. By default, entries are retained for 90 days.
Entries older than the retention period are permanently deleted. If you need longer retention, export the log to CSV regularly (see Exporting the Activity Log).
Who Can View the Activity Log #
Staff members must have the dmsi_view_analytics capability to view the Activity Log. By default, the Admin, Manager, and View-Only built-in roles grant this capability.
