DMSI Team Management serves two distinct audiences simultaneously.
Your Internal Team (Admin Side) #
If your business has multiple people who need access to your DDLS admin panel, Team Management gives you control over what each person can do.
Typical roles you might create:
- Support Agent – Can view customers and licenses, handle support tickets, but cannot delete records or access billing
- Account Manager – Can manage licenses and customers, process renewals, but cannot change product pricing
- Developer – Can view all data for debugging purposes but cannot make changes
- Billing Admin – Can access billing and subscription data but not technical license settings
Without Team Management, everyone with admin access has full WordPress administrator rights. Team Management lets you give staff members only the access they actually need.
Your Customers (Customer Side) #
If you sell software or products that organizations buy for their whole team, Team Management lets customers self-manage their team access.
Typical customer scenarios:
- A company buys a 10-seat license for their development team. The IT manager is the team admin and manages who has access.
- A marketing agency purchases a 5-seat license. They add three designers and two project managers. When someone leaves, the agency admin removes them.
- An enterprise account buys an unlimited-seat license. Department heads manage their own sub-teams.
Without Team Management, every user at a customer’s organization would need to purchase their own license, or you would need to manually manage shared access for them.
