When a customer adds a team license product to their cart, they are prompted to select a seat tier before completing their purchase.

The Checkout Experience #

On the checkout page, below the standard WooCommerce fields, customers see a seat tier selector for each team license in their cart. This appears as a set of radio buttons, one for each tier configured on the product.

Validation #

Customers must select a tier before they can complete checkout. If no tier is selected, the checkout process returns a validation error and the order is not submitted.

Price Displayed #

The tier prices are for display/reference at checkout. The actual product price on the WooCommerce product determines the purchase amount. Make sure the tier labels and the product pricing reflect the same pricing structure.

After Selection #

The selected tier’s seat count is saved as order item metadata (_dmsilm_seat_count). This value is read by Team Management when the license is provisioned after payment.
