Team license products are created in WooCommerce. They require both the standard DDLS Licensing tab configuration and the new Team License tab that this extension adds.

Customer-Side Feature

Before You Start #

• WooCommerce must be installed and active.
• DMSI DDLS must be configured with a valid license.
• DMSI Team Management must be active.

Creating the Product #

• (‘ol’, ‘Go to WooCommerce > Products > Add New (or edit an existing product).’)

• (‘ol’, ‘Enter a product name, description, and any images.’)

• (‘ol’, ‘In the Product Data section, look for the Team License tab in the left navigation of the product data box.’)

Configuring the Team License Tab #

• (‘ol’, ‘Click the Team License tab.’)

• (‘ol’, ‘Check the This is a team license product checkbox. This enables the seat configuration fields.’)

• (‘ol’, ‘Add your seat tiers (see Configuring Seat Tiers).’)

Configuring the Licensing Tab #

The Team License tab only controls seat configuration. You still need to configure the standard DDLS Licensing tab for all the license settings:

• License duration
• Activation limits
• Allowed domains
• Any other standard license settings

Both tabs must be properly configured for the product to work correctly as a team license.

Important: Both Checks Required #

The plugin requires that a product have BOTH:

• (‘ol’, ‘The _dmsilm_is_team_product product meta set to yes (done by checking the checkbox in step 2 above)’)

• (‘ol’, ‘At least one valid seat tier configured (step 3 above)’)

If either is missing, orders for this product will be treated as standard (non-team) licenses.

Publishing the Product #

Once both tabs are configured:

• (‘ol’, ‘Set any pricing on the product as you normally would.’)

• (‘ol’, ‘Click Publish (or Update if editing an existing product).’)

The product now appears in your shop as a team license offering.
