WooCommerce Store Setup With DDLS Built In
Any WordPress agency or developer can do a WooCommerce store setup. What is different here is who does it: we build DMSI DDLS (Digital Downloads, Licensing & Subscriptions), so when we set up your store, licensing and secure delivery for digital products are configured from the first day, not added later.
What a WooCommerce Store Setup Includes
We build your store new, on WordPress and WooCommerce, and we host it: hosting is part of every store we build. The setup covers your products, up to the number agreed in your offer, configured for what you sell (digital, physical, or both); payments through PayPal or Stripe, which also accept credit and debit cards and, depending on your country, wallets such as Google Pay and Apple Pay; your taxes, if you want us to set them up; and, for digital products, DDLS configured so each purchase gets a license key and a customer portal to download from.
To connect PayPal or Stripe, we need your API credentials. For a turn-key store, you give us both your sandbox (test) and your live credentials. If you prefer, give us only the sandbox credentials: we set up and test payments with them, and you enter the live credentials yourself. To set up taxes, you give us your tax zones and rates. For your products, you give us their content: names, descriptions, prices and images, and for digital products, the files. We ask for credentials only after you accept our offer, never through the quote form.
After launch, you can look after the store yourself, or add one of our support plans. Support is optional, but we recommend it.
Every store is scoped to what you sell, so there is no published price for setup. Tell us about your products and you will get a scoped offer by email, not a sales call.
Common questions
Do I need an existing website?
No. We build every store new, on WordPress and WooCommerce, and host it for you. If you already own a domain name, tell us in the quote request and we will use it.
Will licensing be set up automatically for everything I sell?
Licensing is switched on product by product, for simple and variable WooCommerce products. Once it is enabled for a product, DDLS creates a license key for each purchase and uses that key to control the download. It is part of the setup, not a separate step you do later.
Do you set up payments and taxes?
Yes. We connect PayPal or Stripe, and set up your taxes if you want us to. Payments go straight to your own PayPal or Stripe account; we never handle your money. DDLS handles delivery and licensing; it does not process payments.
What do you need from me to set up payments and taxes?
Your PayPal or Stripe API credentials: sandbox and live for a turn-key store, or sandbox only if you prefer to enter the live credentials yourself. For taxes, your tax zones and rates. We ask for these only after you accept our offer, never through the quote form.
Can I sell digital and physical products from the same store?
Yes. WooCommerce supports both in the same store, and DDLS licensing and the customer download portal apply only to the digital products you switch it on for.
Do I have to take a support plan?
No. Hosting is part of every store we build, but support is optional. If you know WordPress and want to maintain the store yourself, you can. We recommend a plan, because a store needs regular updates, backups and checks.
