Cancelling a License (Permanent) #
Cancellation is a permanent action that cannot be undone. Use this only for final situations.
When to Cancel #
Valid Reasons:
- Chargeback resolved against you (permanent)
- Severe terms violation (piracy, abuse)
- Fraud confirmed (not suspected – confirmed)
- Customer requested refund + cancellation
- Account closure requested
IMPORTANT: This is Permanent #
There is NO way to reactivate a cancelled license.
The only option is creating a completely new license with a new license key.
Before You Cancel #
Ask yourself:
- Could this be resolved? (If yes, use Suspended instead)
- Is this temporary? (If yes, use Suspended instead)
- Is this 100% final? (If yes, proceed with Cancel)
Consider “Suspended” for:
- Payment issues (might be resolved)
- Chargebacks (might be won)
- Investigations (might be innocent)
- Temporary violations (might be corrected)
