Version Adoption Tracking #
Version adoption tracking shows which versions of your products your customers are currently running, based on their last activation check-in.
Requires DDLS Update Server
Version tracking usesdmsilm_version_createdanddmsilm_version_updatedhooks which are only available when the DDLS Update Server add-on is active. Without it, the Version Adoption section will be empty.
How Version Data is Collected #
When a customer’s plugin checks in with DDLS Core for an update, the check-in event includes the currently installed version. DMSI Analytics records this as part of the activation check-in event.
Version Distribution Chart #
The Version Distribution doughnut chart shows what percentage of active activations are on each product version.
Example:
– v2.1.0: 45%
– v2.0.5: 30%
– v1.9.x: 15%
– Older: 10%
