Steps when adding a new DDLS product.

Setup Steps #

1. Create product in WooCommerce
2. In the Licensing tab, enable the features this product needs (each is independent):
   • Enable Licensing — if purchases should generate a license key
   • Enable Support Contract — if purchases should include a support contract
   • Enable Subscriptions — if customers should be billed on a recurring schedule
   • Enable EULA — if customers must accept a license agreement at checkout
3. If licensing enabled: set license type (Standard, Premium, etc.)
4. If licensing enabled: set activation limit (1, 5, 25, unlimited)
5. If licensing enabled: set license duration (12 months, lifetime, etc.)
6. If support enabled: configure support level and duration
7. If subscriptions enabled: configure billing period and interval
8. Set trial period (if applicable)
9. Upload first version file
10. Create product variations (if tiered pricing)

Testing #

11. Test: Purchase product and verify enabled features were created (license, support contract, subscription)
12. Test: Verify email delivery
13. Test: Download from customer portal
