Quick reference for subscription statuses.
Subscription Statuses #
| Status | Meaning | Next Action |
|---|---|---|
| pending | Order placed | Awaiting payment |
| active | Renewing normally | Renewal tracked |
| trial | In trial period | Will convert or expire |
| past_due | Renewal date passed | Create renewal order |
| cancelled | Customer cancelled | No more renewals |
| expired | Completed naturally | May renew or not |

- “past_due” means renewal date passed without payment
- Create renewal order and send payment link to customer
